Steve Keppel is an experienced marketing executive with a background of working with top level clients as the President of Keppel Research Consultants and as an independent consultant. He has a special emphasis in services marketing for the financial, insurance and healthcare industries. After a decade of marketing research experience Steve started Keppel Research Consultants in 1992. He developed an integrated research program tracking customer service levels and expectations of service. He has successfully executed Customer Service Evaluation and Tracking Programs for such clients as Blue Cross & Blue Shield, GMAC, Ditech.com, Mellon Bank, Fulton Bank in Pennsylvania, Citibank and Chase Bank. He has been involved in several Commercial Testing programs using the Perception Analyzer dial pad technology and is an experienced Focus Group Moderator.Steve has also conducted several lectures and seminars in Europe and Latin America. He taught Marketing Management at Moravian College in Bethlehem PA and was an instructor at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association’s Certified Health Consultant School of Marketing. In addition to marketing, Steve has a passion for philanthropy. He is involved in various non-profit organizations including the James Keppel Foundation and the Economic Growth Initiative for Haiti. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he majored in marketing and earned a monogram letter for football.

As a consultant I was Director of Financial Services Market Research Programs, Customer Satisfaction, Focus Groups and Advertising/Commercial Testing using the Perception Analyzer dial technology. Quality Assurance Director of all company research projects.For two years I had been working with a company to completely overhaul their operations. Each year the president and I attacked one or more problems I uncovered in the first three month Marketing Service Quality Audit I performed for them.
Economic Growth Initiative for Haiti (EGI-Haiti) 2003 – 2014
EGI is a non-profit foundation that supports young entrepreneurs in Haiti by providing them with training, mentoring and access to finance. In 2007-10 I served as interim Executive Director of the organization, traveling to Haiti on a regular basis and teaching entrepreneurship workshops.
